The strange name of this website comes from a philosophical thought experiment, Brains in a Vat which, in short, speaks to the possibility of owing all of our waking experience to simulated experience e.g. we might all be human brains, sitting in vats of brain fluid, plugged into electrical and chemical feeds that fool us into believing that everything we experience is genuine.
Neat idea. I like neat ideas. So, that’s what I’ll write about, across any topics I think are interesting: politics, science, philosophy, personal experience, etc.
